Hello, I'm

Anton Sotniychuk

Father · IT Researcher · Independent Founder

For over two decades, I have operated at the intersection of complex software architecture, independent information intelligence, and high-leverage business design.

Anton Sotniychuk
That's me, 100chuk. My surname traces back to sotnik, commander of 100 warriors.
Fun twist: on my mother's side, the family name is Soldatov — soldier.
01 — The story so far

From Early Silicon to Enterprise Architecture.

Where it all began.

My journey into engineering began at age 9, writing my first lines of code on an 8-bit ZX Spectrum. That early immersion cultivated a permanent worldview: seeing organizations, data streams, and market dynamics as interconnected, deterministic systems.

This technical foundation led to a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Software Engineering for complex automated control systems, culminating in a graduation thesis focused on the applied use of neural networks (yes, even back then!). Additionally, eight years of rigorous discipline across naval military institutions (spanning high school and academy) instilled deep resilience, confidence, and an unshakeable drive to achieve ambitious goals.

Over the past twenty-five years, I have built and operated software systems and independent ventures from the ground up.

02 — What I believe

How I Think and Build.

Extreme Operational Leverage

Small, elite engineering setups consistently outperform bloated organizations. True institutional efficiency is measured by technical and commercial output per person, not headcount or vanity budgets.

Fact: Architected and scaled a proprietary B2B software platform with zero external capital as the sole engineer, generating tens of millions in revenue.

Ground Truth Over Consensus

High-stakes decisions must be anchored in direct primary sources, raw data trails, and unvarnished technical reality—never in recycled secondary consulting summaries.

Fact: Founded and built an independent investigative media organization from scratch, scaling it to over 1,000,000 monthly readers and sustained profitability with zero government grants or external institutional funding.

Zero Tolerance for Waste

Mindless budget absorption that yields no measurable technical or financial leverage for the client is fundamentally unacceptable. Advisory must generate structural ROI, not billable hours for the firm.

Fact: Resigned from a major consulting company specifically because client engagements were structured around arbitrary budget consumption rather than delivering concrete technical or financial advantage.

Personal Effectiveness

I effectively combine delegation and oversight with the capacity to shoulder heavy operational pressure myself. A commitment to the rare intersection of inventive thinking and strict punctuality.

Fact: Have a proven history of steering operations and executing strategic plans across three companies at once.

04 — How I study human nature

Independent Journalism as an Inquiry into Humanity.

Beyond software engineering and commercial architecture, my enduring lifelong pursuit has been the rigorous study of humanity and social systems. For over twenty years, founding independent investigative medias served as an uncompromising field laboratory for understanding how human nature actually functions when stakes are high and visibility is low.

To me, investigative journalism was never merely an editorial exercise—it was applied anthropology and structural analysis. It meant deconstructing the psychology of power, mapping hidden economic incentives, tracing how institutional narratives diverge from operational reality, and observing the raw interplay between truth, vulnerability, and resilience.

Fojo Media Institute, Linnaeus University
Where the investigative craft was forged.

Having completed advanced investigative journalism training at Sweden’s Fojo Media Institute (Linnaeus University), I also served as an investigative journalism trainer—mentoring reporters and teaching the systematic fact-finding, field reconnaissance, and rigorous source verification methods required to uncover ground truth.

This deep immersion into human motives, conflicts of interest, and investigative discipline permanently shaped my analytical perspective. It instilled a fundamental belief that behind every complex organizational failure or breakthrough lies a human truth that standard data models fail to capture.

Being a perpetual learner myself, I am equally fascinated by how humanity scales its collective intellect—closely following the evolution of online learning architectures, EdTech methodologies, and digital knowledge systems.

High Altitudes & Enduring Forms.

Outside of software engineering and strategic advisory, my pursuits center on high-altitude mountain trekking—often venturing into the mountains together with my wife and one of our children. Managing logistical risk in remote alpine environments shares the same discipline as navigating high-stakes business environments: methodical preparation, acute awareness of objective hazards, and decisive execution under pressure.

Having traveled across some 15 countries, I consciously avoid conventional tourist itineraries and homogenized chain hotels. Instead, I seek deep cultural immersion—choosing to live alongside locals to understand the authentic rhythms, traditions, and unscripted daily realities of each society.

Alongside mountaineering and travel, I maintain an enduring engagement with continuous interdisciplinary reading.
